At Holly's Home Childcare, I'm proud to provide a caring and safe environment for your children. By following my mission, vision and values, I create a nurturing, stimulating and welcoming learning environment for all children.
I provide your child(ren) with a "home away from home" where you don't need to worry about their needs being met. My program incorporates emergent learning while allowing for children to self-regulate and self-monitor their wants and needs in age-appropriate ways. Get in touch to learn more!

A Little About the Owner
Hi! And welcome to Holly's Home Childcare's website. This is a home based childcare that offers Monday-Thursday full-day care.
In 2012, I started my childcare journey as a daycare cook. When I was given the opportunity to work directly with the children to fill in during short-staffed days, my heart was filled with joy and I knew exactly what I was meant to do. When my first two children were preschoolers, I took on an apprenticeship and obtained my ECE diploma with honours. This was all while working full-time and taking care of a young family. I have a variety of environmental experiences, such as working with children from under the age of one to five years old in daycare centre settings, outreach programs in my community that offer child-minding/program planning as well as before/after school care in a licensed centre. My experience working in kindergarten classrooms has given me insight on the most important skills your little one should work on and develop for school readiness.
The most important part of opening Holly's Home Childcare is to offer a place where children can receive quality care and parents can feel comfortable leaving their children. Entrusting your children with someone else can be quite scary. As an independent operator, I personally oversee all regulatory compliance, health and safety protocols, and pedagogical frameworks for my program. I implement an emergent, play-based curriculum model that targets core developmental milestones and self-regulation skills. I'm committed to providing a safe and relaxing environment that offers learning through play and curiosity for children in their early years.
